Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Littleton, CO

Step into a dynamic and technologically advanced environment as a Registered Nurse specializing in the Operating Room. This contract role involves working in a main operating suite with 16 state-of-the-art ORs, supporting a diversity of complex procedures in a facility renowned for exceptional clinical outcomes and progressive surgical technology.

Schedule:

• 12-hour day shifts (7:00 AM – 7:00 PM)
• Includes night and weekend on-call responsibility

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Proven transplant experience required
• Experience with procedures such as total joints, spine, kidney/liver transplants, robotics, vascular, ENT, and plastic surgeries
• Strong familiarity with Meditech EMR system
• Minimum 3 years of circulating experience in an Operating Room environment preferred
• Professional certification highly valued

Core Responsibilities:

• Provide perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced, high-acuity operating suite
• Circulate during complex surgical interventions including organ transplants and robotic procedures
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of surgeons, anesthesiologists, and specialized perioperative staff
• Uphold unit guidelines and safety protocols for infection control and patient monitoring
• Respond promptly to urgent and emergent scenarios with clinical competence and composure
• Document care with accuracy and thoroughness in the Meditech EMR system
