Schedule & Hours:
- 12-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Includes night and weekend call
Key Qualifications:
- Valid RN license required
- Proven operating room nursing background
- Transplant surgery experience is a must
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience preferred
- Certification in perioperative nursing preferred
The Operating Room:
- 16 state-of-the-art operating suites
- EMR system: Meditech
- Wide variety of surgical specialties, including:
- Total joints and spine procedures
- Organ transplants (kidney/liver)
- Robotics-assisted surgeries
- Vascular, ENT, and plastic surgeries
Primary Responsibilities:
- Circulate and/or scrub during complex OR procedures
- Facilitate patient safety protocols throughout the surgical process
- Coordinate multidisciplinary teamwork and support surgeons during transplant and specialty operations
- Ensure strict adherence to established unit guidelines and evidence-based practices
- Timely and accurate EMR documentation
