Healthcare professionals on this assignment will work in a high-performing Spine and Joint Hip Preservation Center, gaining valuable exposure to innovative orthopedic practices and complex surgical procedures. With three state-of-the-art operating rooms dedicated to spine and joint cases and a collaborative interdisciplinary team, you’ll build your resume through diverse case volumes and advanced technology, positioning yourself for future leadership roles.
Schedule/Hours:
- 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM, Monday through Friday
- Saturday and Sunday are on-call only (no overnight shifts)
- Night call from 5:00 PM – 11:00 PM, Monday through Friday
Preferred experience and requirements:
- Current RN license with a minimum of one-year acute care hospital OR experience (spine/joint focus is required)
- BLS and ACLS certifications
- Experience with spine and joint procedures (spine fusions, ALIFS, total joint replacement)
- Joint scrub and Meditech EMR experience highly desirable
- Strong communication and adaptability skills
Key responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, evidence-based perioperative care to orthopedic patients
- Collaborate with a team of experienced professionals, including assigned Charge RN and Unit Secretary
- Assist with advanced surgical procedures and uphold best practices within a high-acuity operating suite
- Maintain a 30-minute response time while on-call
- Foster an environment focused on continuous improvement and professional development
