Schedule:
- 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM full-time shifts
- Required call: one weekend per month, approximately seven days per month
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the full scope of the nursing process, from assessment and diagnosis to planning, implementation, and evaluation
- Deliver patient-centered care, considering psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs
- Administer medications and treatments as indicated by appropriate protocols, monitoring for safety and effectiveness
- Accurately document patient histories, care provided, and treatments administered
- Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and post-operative instructions
- Delegate responsibilities to other care providers, supporting effective clinical management
Qualifications:
- Valid RN license in TX or compact state
- Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA required
- Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
- Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
