Schedule:

• 6:30 AM – 3:00 PM full-time shifts
• Required call: one weekend per month, approximately seven days per month

Key Responsibilities:

• Independently provide routine and complex nursing care utilizing the full scope of the nursing process, from assessment and diagnosis to planning, implementation, and evaluation
• Deliver patient-centered care, considering psychological, emotional, cultural, and social needs
• Administer medications and treatments as indicated by appropriate protocols, monitoring for safety and effectiveness
• Accurately document patient histories, care provided, and treatments administered
• Educate patients and families regarding care plans, procedures, and post-operative instructions
• Delegate responsibilities to other care providers, supporting effective clinical management

Qualifications:

• Valid RN license in TX or compact state
• Basic Life Support (BLS), AHA required
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred
• Minimum 1 year of Operating Room nursing experience preferred
