Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms for surgical procedures, ensuring all equipment and instruments are sterile and ready for use
• Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgeries
• Monitor patients’ vital signs, reactions, and condition throughout operative procedures
• Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to facilitate smooth, efficient procedures
• Maintain accurate and detailed records in compliance with regulatory guidelines
• Uphold infection control policies and participate in quality improvement initiatives
• Respond swiftly to changes in patient status or emergencies in the operating suite

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an Operating Room or perioperative setting
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certifications required
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and OR equipment
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
