Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment is sterile and functional
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
  • Monitor patient vitals and respond promptly to changes during procedures
  • Maintain accurate documentation of patient status and intraoperative activities
  • Adhere to established protocols, aseptic techniques, and safety standards
  • Support patient and family education regarding surgical processes and post-operative care

Desired Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid RN license in good standing
  • Previous experience in the Operating Room (OR) setting strongly preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Solid understanding of surgical instruments, procedures, and sterile field maintenance
  • Strong critical thinking, communication, and teamwork skills
  • Calm demeanor in urgent and rapidly changing environments
