Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Current and unrestricted RN license
  • Minimum of one year of recent experience working as an RN in an Operating Room setting
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (American Heart Association)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in scrubbing and circulating for a variety of surgical procedures
  • Strong assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as a key member of the surgical team
  • Familiarity with electronic charting systems

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe and efficient nursing care before, during, and after surgical procedures
  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other perioperative staff to ensure optimal patient outcomes
  • Maintain sterile technique and uphold infection control protocols at all times
  • Assess patient status, monitor vital signs, and document care accurately
  • Respond promptly to emergencies or changes in patient condition
  • Oversee preparation, use, and cleaning of equipment and surgical instruments
  • Act as an advocate for patient safety and confidentiality throughout the surgical process
