Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Los Angeles, California

Schedule:

• Flexible shifts available, including days, evenings, and weekends
• Contract assignment with potential for extension

Qualifications:

• Current RN license (unencumbered)
• Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room nursing experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of operative protocols, sterile technique, and surgical instrumentation
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Excellent organizational, communication, and critical thinking abilities
• Proven ability to collaborate effectively with surgical teams, anesthesiologists, and support staff

Responsibilities:

• Prepare surgical suites, ensuring all equipment and supplies are sterile and ready for use
• Circulate and/or scrub during surgical cases, adhering to strict aseptic techniques
• Monitor patient vitals and respond to changes in condition throughout procedures
• Act as a liaison between the surgical team, anesthesia providers, and patient support personnel
• Enforce patient safety standards, perform surgical counts, and accurately document intraoperative details
• Provide postoperative care and patient assessments as required
