We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Registered Nurse with experience in the Operating Room to provide comprehensive perioperative care and support surgical teams in a fast-paced healthcare setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Valid and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of 1 year of recent experience working in an Operating Room
  • Current BLS and ACLS certification (American Heart Association preferred)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in aseptic technique and circulating or scrub roles
  • Ability to work collaboratively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
  • Excellent communication, critical thinking, and time management skills

Responsibilities:

  • Prepare patients for surgery and provide intraoperative care
  • Assist with surgical setup, instrument counts, and maintenance of a sterile field
  • Serve as a circulating or scrub nurse, anticipating the needs of the surgical team
  • Monitor patient status and implement interventions as needed
  • Ensure accurate documentation of procedures and patient care records
  • Adhere to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety regulations
  • Provide patient and family education related to perioperative care
