Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • At least 1 year of recent Operating Room RN experience
  • Strong knowledge of preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative procedures
  • Familiarity with surgical instrumentation and sterile technique
  • Ability to respond quickly to emergent situations and adapt to shifting priorities
  • BLS and ACLS certification (required)
  • Excellent teamwork, communication, and organizational skills

Responsibilities:

  • Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical cases, ensuring patient safety and adherence to sterile procedures
  • Work closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical techs throughout procedures
  • Prep, assess, and monitor patients pre-, intra-, and post-operatively
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document interventions
  • Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Demonstrate compliance with all hospital policies, protocols, and quality standards
