Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Marietta, Georgia

Key Qualifications:

• Current, unrestricted RN license with credentials valid in the state
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an OR/Operating Room setting
• Proficiency with surgical procedures, aseptic technique, and relevant technology
• Strong assessment, critical-thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and interdisciplinary teams
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred

Schedule:

• Consistent shift schedule with opportunities for overtime, as needed

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical specialties
• Monitor and assess patient status throughout the perioperative period
• Prepare the operating room with necessary equipment and supplies
• Ensure adherence to strict infection control and safety guidelines
• Accurately document perioperative care and communicate patient needs
• Respond calmly and effectively in urgent or emergent surgical situations
• Provide education and support to patients and family members
