Essential Qualifications:

• Active RN license recognized in Georgia
• Minimum of one year recent experience in the Operating Room (OR) as a circulating or scrub nurse
• Current BLS certification (additional ACLS or PALS a plus)
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room and ensure all equipment, instruments, and supplies are set for procedures
• Collaborate closely with the surgical team to provide patient-centered care before, during, and after surgery
• Serve as a patient advocate throughout surgical interventions, maintaining patient safety and comfort
• Document and maintain accurate surgical records in accordance with regulatory and facility standards
• Monitor and assess patient status, promptly reporting changes to physicians and fellow team members
• Assist with infection control measures and adhere to sterile technique protocols at all times
