Embark on a rewarding contract assignment in a high-acuity surgical setting, delivering exceptional patient care in the Operating Room. This opportunity is ideal for nursing professionals with a passion for perioperative care, offering the chance to work in a dynamic facility recognized for its fast-paced, collaborative environment.

Schedule/Hours:

  • Shifts: 6:45 a.m. – 7:15 p.m.
  • Includes call, weekends, and holidays
  • Not eligible for block scheduling

Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with current credentials
  • Minimum of one year of previous travel nursing experience required
  • Proven background supporting a Level 1 trauma center
  • High rating on the skills checklist specific to the OR environment
  • Burn care and operating room experience preferred
  • Exceptional critical thinking, organizational, and communication abilities
  • Ability to thrive under pressure and adapt to rapidly changing cases

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia teams during a broad range of surgical procedures
  • Maintain a sterile field and uphold all safety and infection prevention standards
  • Monitor patient status, responding rapidly to any signs of distress
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate preoperative and postoperative care
  • Document all procedures accurately and in compliance with facility standards
  • Participate in on-call rotations, as well as weekend and holiday coverage as scheduled
