Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Marietta, Georgia

Step into an impactful nursing opportunity with a three-month assignment at a busy Ambulatory Surgery Center. This vital role is perfect for a dedicated and experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse passionate about high-quality patient care in a fast-paced setting.

Schedule:

• Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• No weekends or holidays

Preferred Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Proven experience in operating room (OR) settings, ambulatory surgery centers, or comparable high-volume clinical environments
• Familiarity with efficient patient throughput—capacity to manage up to 90 patients daily
• Ability to lead calmly and effectively during medical emergencies
• Proficient in surgical site sterilization, instrument handling, and compliance with procedural safety standards
• Strong communication and teamwork skills; adaptable to shifting priorities

Core Responsibilities:

• Assist surgeons and surgical teams in pre-op, intra-op, and post-op procedures
• Maintain the highest levels of aseptic technique and enforce infection control guidelines
• Monitor and respond to patient needs throughout the surgical process
• Document patient care accurately and efficiently within electronic medical records
• Serve as a resource during urgent or emergent situations, initiating critical interventions as necessary
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary staff to ensure smooth patient flow and optimal outcomes
