Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Mckeesport, PA

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive perioperative care, including pre-, intra-, and post-operative nursing for patients undergoing a variety of surgical procedures
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other team members to ensure optimal patient outcomes and safety
• Maintain strict aseptic technique, monitor patient status, and quickly identify/respond to complications
• Accurately document patient care, surgical interventions, and recovery status in medical records
• Manage surgical instruments and supplies, ensuring equipment is available, sterile, and properly maintained
• Educate patients and their families regarding procedures, recovery expectations, and post-operative care instructions

Desired Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrated proficiency in Operating Room (OR) nursing
• Minimum of one year recent experience as an OR RN
• BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
• Strong communication and critical thinking abilities
• Capacity for calm, focused performance in high-stress situations
