Schedule:

  • 40 hours per week guaranteed except for holiday weeks (Independence Day, Labor Day – 32-hour weeks)
  • Flexible contract period

Qualifications:

  • Current and unrestricted California RN license
  • BLS certification required
  • Recent experience as a circulator in the Operating Room
  • TB clearance within the past 12 months
  • Strong knowledge of OR procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control
  • Excellent communication and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as circulator during operative procedures, maintaining a safe, aseptic, and supportive environment
  • Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers by anticipating and meeting patient needs
  • Monitor patient status throughout operations and take prompt action in emergencies
  • Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and timely
  • Collaborate with physicians, surgical technologists, and other team members to deliver quality care
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
  • Adhere to facility protocols, regulatory requirements, and best practices for patient safety
