Schedule:
- 40 hours per week guaranteed except for holiday weeks (Independence Day, Labor Day – 32-hour weeks)
- Flexible contract period
Qualifications:
- Current and unrestricted California RN license
- BLS certification required
- Recent experience as a circulator in the Operating Room
- TB clearance within the past 12 months
- Strong knowledge of OR procedures, sterile techniques, and infection control
- Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
Responsibilities:
- Serve as circulator during operative procedures, maintaining a safe, aseptic, and supportive environment
- Assist surgeons and anesthesia providers by anticipating and meeting patient needs
- Monitor patient status throughout operations and take prompt action in emergencies
- Ensure all documentation is accurate, complete, and timely
- Collaborate with physicians, surgical technologists, and other team members to deliver quality care
- Prepare, organize, and maintain necessary instruments, supplies, and equipment for procedures
- Adhere to facility protocols, regulatory requirements, and best practices for patient safety
