Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Mckinleyville, CA

This contract opportunity offers a competitive weekly compensation of $2500 - $2700, based on a standard 40-hour workweek, with additional eligible reimbursements for housing and meals/incidentals.

Qualifications:

• Active RN license, unrestricted and in good standing
• Minimum of 1-2 years experience working in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (other credentials may be required)
• Proven proficiency in circulating and scrubbing for a variety of surgical procedures
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective communicator with both patients and healthcare teams

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure safe, efficient patient care
• Prepare, assess, and monitor patients before, during, and after surgery
• Accurately document intraoperative care and maintain sterile technique at all times
• Anticipate the needs of the surgical team and respond promptly to changes in patient condition
• Provide patient and family education regarding pre- and post-operative care
