As a travel Operating Room RN, you’ll work within a Joint Commission-accredited hospital recognized as a Certified Primary Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center—honored as the region’s best by local awards. Weekly Monday orientations ensure a smooth start and a welcoming integration into your new role.
Schedule/Hours
- Weekly orientation on Mondays
Qualifications
- Active RN license; eligibility to practice in New Mexico
- Minimum of one year experience in the Operating Room (required)
- BLS (AHA required); ACLS and additional certifications may be required per facility checklist
- Ability to complete NM fingerprint/background check as outlined by state requirements
- Compliance with all up-to-date certification requirements prior to start
Responsibilities
- Scrubbing, circulating, and assisting with a variety of surgical procedures
- Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient care
- Maintaining strict adherence to infection control, safety standards, and hospital protocols
- Documentation and communication throughout surgical processes
