Schedule/Hours:
- Orientation is weekly, on Mondays
Qualifications & Experience:
- Current RN license with operating room experience required
- Valid BLS and ACLS certifications prior to start
- Additional certifications may be requested—please review current requirements
- Must be eligible for Traveler status (must reside at least 60 miles from site)
- Compliance with New Mexico State fingerprinting and background check requirements
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
Primary Responsibilities:
- Provide safe, high-quality perioperative nursing care to surgical patients
- Collaborate with physicians and surgical teams to ensure best patient outcomes
- Adhere to evidence-based practice standards and facility protocols
- Accurately document perioperative care and patient responses
- Assist with operating room setup, equipment checks, and post-op assessments
