Key Qualifications:

• Proficient in all aspects of CVOR technology
• Minimum one year of recent experience in an adult cardiac operating room
• Current, valid nursing or CVOR Tech certification/license (state-specific requirements may apply)
• Strong understanding of sterile technique and OR protocols
• Exceptional teamwork, communication, and critical thinking skills

Responsibilities Include:

• Preparing and maintaining CVOR equipment and rooms for adult cardiac surgical procedures
• Assisting surgical teams as scrub tech during complex cardiovascular operations
• Monitoring and managing supplies and instruments throughout each case
• Implementing infection control and patient safety protocols
• Maintaining accurate documentation and patient care records
• Collaborating effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and nursing staff
