Schedule/Hours:

Key Qualifications:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license
  • At least 1 year of recent experience in an operating room setting preferred
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile techniques, and perioperative assessments
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary surgical teams
  • Ability to adapt quickly, prioritize effectively, and maintain composure in high-stress situations

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the operating room for upcoming surgeries, ensuring a sterile and organized environment
  • Support surgeons and anesthesiologists during procedures by anticipating needs and providing necessary instruments or supplies
  • Monitor patient status throughout surgical interventions, responding rapidly to any changes
  • Conduct comprehensive patient assessments pre- and post-operatively
  • Accurately document all patient care activities and procedural details according to regulatory and institutional policies
  • Maintain compliance with safety protocols and infection control practices
