Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) in Millbrook, AL

An opportunity is available for a Registered Nurse with strong Operating Room experience to deliver specialized care in a dynamic surgical setting. The role calls for proficiency circulating in a variety of cases and robust experience in robotic procedures. This position features a weekday schedule with extended shifts, allowing an optimal balance between professional involvement and personal time.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Qualifications:

• Active RN license and a minimum of two years’ relevant Operating Room experience (non-travel RN experience strongly preferred)
• Experience as a circulator in General, GYN, Urology, and Vascular surgeries required
• Robust skills and hands-on knowledge in robotic-assisted surgery is essential
• Preferred: Prior exposure to Ortho, Ped Dental, Podiatry, and ENT procedures
• BLS and ACLS certifications mandatory
• Open to first-time travelers if two years of OR experience are met

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in six fully equipped Operating Rooms, maintaining a 1:1 patient assignment
• Collaborate with surgical teams, supporting General, GYN, Urology, Vascular, and robotic cases
• Safeguard patient safety and quality of care from pre-op to post-op
• Manage supplies and instruments, closely coordinating with sterile processing teams
• Demonstrate initiative, adaptability, and a commitment to excellence throughout every procedure
