Key Qualifications:
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of one year of recent experience in an operating room (OR) setting
- Demonstrated proficiency with perioperative nursing standards and sterile technique
- Strong critical thinking, assessment, and communication abilities
- BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced situations
- Collaborative approach to working with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and other perioperative team members
Primary Responsibilities:
- Assist in preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative phases of patient care
- Maintain strict adherence to surgical asepsis and infection control protocols
- Prepare operating suites with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies
- Monitor patients’ status and document all relevant information accurately
- Provide support to surgical teams during procedures, including instrument handling and emergency interventions as needed
- Act as a patient advocate, prioritizing safety and comfort throughout their surgical experience
- Participate in departmental quality improvement initiatives and ongoing staff education

$2,193 - $2,312/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
