Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Millbrook, Alabama

Key Qualifications:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year of recent experience in an operating room setting
• Proficient in circulating and/or scrubbing for a variety of surgical specialties
• Strong communication and organizational skills
• Ability to thrive under pressure and maintain excellent patient care during critical moments
• BLS certification required; additional certifications (ACLS, CNOR) are a plus

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists before, during, and after procedures
• Monitor patient status and advocate for their needs throughout the perioperative process
• Ensure strict adherence to aseptic techniques, infection control, and patient safety protocols
• Document care and communicate effectively with the care team and patient families as needed
• Prepare and manage surgical instruments, supplies, and equipment
• Respond quickly to emergencies and rapidly changing situations in the OR
