Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Minneapolis, MN

Seeking a skilled registered nurse to provide expert care in a busy operating room environment. This contract position offers the opportunity to collaborate with a dedicated surgical team and support optimal outcomes for patients undergoing a broad range of procedures.

Schedule/Hours:

• 13-week contract
• 5 shifts per week, 8-hour day shifts
• Start times at 7:00 am, with occasional 10:30 am starts

Qualifications:

• Current Minnesota RN license or active MN temporary permit for RNs required
• BLS certification (American Heart Association or equivalent)
• Minimum 2 years of recent perioperative nursing experience
• Strong clinical knowledge of aseptic technique, surgical instrumentation, and intraoperative nursing care
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities within multidisciplinary teams

Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in the operating room, supporting safe and effective surgical procedures
• Conduct pre-operative and intra-operative patient assessments
• Maintain strict adherence to infection prevention protocols
• Anticipate surgeon and procedural needs, ensuring all equipment and supplies are available and functional
• Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and support staff to facilitate smooth case flow
• Document interventions, observations, and outcomes thoroughly and accurately

$2,477 - $2,611/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
