Desired Qualifications:

  • Active and unencumbered RN license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room setting
  • Competency with circulating and/or scrubbing duties preferred
  • BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, infection control, and sterile technique
  • Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a fast-paced surgical team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to procedure requirements
  • Serve as circulating and/or scrub nurse, ensuring protocol accuracy and patient safety throughout surgical procedures
  • Monitor patient status before, during, and after surgery, providing crucial assessments and documentation
  • Maintain strict adherence to aseptic techniques and infection control guidelines
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and surgical technologists
  • Accurately complete all perioperative documentation
  • Respond swiftly to emergencies and assist with resuscitation measures if needed
