Qualifications and Experience:

• Current, unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Proficient in aseptic techniques and infection control protocols
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to remain calm under pressure and respond rapidly in emergencies
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare operating rooms and surgical instruments according to procedure requirements
• Assist surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical teams before, during, and after operations
• Monitor and advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the surgical process
• Accurately document all surgical care provided
• Anticipate surgical team needs, ensuring sterile field and procedure flow
• Provide post-operative care and education to patients and their families
