Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Mount Juliet, Tennessee

Exciting opportunity available for experienced Registered Nurses specializing in the Operating Room to provide skilled care within a dynamic, fast-paced environment. This contract assignment spans 26 weeks and welcomes professionals eager to deliver expert nursing support in a prestigious facility with a 56-bed OR servicing both inpatient and outpatient needs, as well as Level 1 trauma cases.

Schedule and Orientation Information:

• Shifts: 12-hour; 7:00a-7:00p (weekdays vary based on unit demands; no block scheduling)
• Must be available for four late stays per 13 weeks as needed
• Orientation start dates: 9/14, 9/28, 10/5, 10/12, 10/26
• Limited time off permitted (must work 2 of 3 holidays)
• Contract is for 26 weeks only; no shorter terms considered

Qualifications:

• Current, active RN license on file at submission
• Minimum 2 years’ recent Operating Room circulating experience (scrub not required)
• Prior travel nursing experience is a must
• Relevant certifications as required for OR practice
• Strong clinical skills across surgical specialties including neuro, trauma, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, transplant, robotic-assisted cases, hybrid procedures, ambulatory ortho, hepatic-biliary, and burn
• Able to care for adult patients (children’s hospital OR is separate)
• Comfortable floating within the OR (not between separate facilities)
• Reliable and flexible for varying weekday schedules and late stay coverage

Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, skilled circulating nurse support for a diverse surgical population
• Collaborate efficiently with multidisciplinary teams during high-acuity and trauma cases
• Prepare and maintain OR environments according to strict protocols
• Adjust flexibly to daily scheduling needs and provide late stay coverage as required

$1,941 - $2,123/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
