Travel Surgical Unit RN - Mount Pleasant, South Carolina

Working in a renowned, Magnet-designated, Level I trauma center, you’ll find yourself in the heart of a nurse-driven environment where innovation and best practices are paramount. Collaborating with a diverse team, you’ll gain valuable insight into complex surgical specialties—Trauma, Transplant, Ortho, Neuro, ENT, GU-GYN, and Robotics—while strengthening your skills in both circulating and scrubbing in high-acuity cases. Schedule & Shifts:

• 4x10-hour day shifts, Monday to Friday (6:30a-5:00p)
• Up to 4 on-call shifts per month (end of shift to 7a)
• Up to 1 weekend shift per month (6:30a-7:00p)
• At least one holiday coverage during key periods

Qualifications:

• Active SC or Multi-State/Compact RN License
• BLS certification required
• Radiation badge (provided)
• 2 years’ recent OR experience strongly preferred
• Scrub experience a strong plus
• Willingness to float within scope as needed
• First-time travelers welcomed

Key Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate a variety of perioperative procedures
• Collaborate within a multidisciplinary, nurse-driven OR team
• Adapt to busy, high-acuity environment with professionalism
• Maintain accurate and efficient charting using EPIC
