Located in Mount Washington, KY, this role serves an area known for its welcoming community, convenient access to urban amenities, and scenic surroundings. The facility is situated within a short distance of Louisville, allowing for an ideal balance of small-town charm and city conveniences.

Qualifications:

  • Active RN licensure with 3+ years of experience in perioperative nursing
  • Experience or preference for ortho/spine surgical cases
  • Familiarity with Cerner EMR systems
  • Ability to work within a team-focused environment and adhere to surgical dress codes

Responsibilities:

  • Deliver comprehensive perioperative nursing care in the operating room
  • Collaborate closely with surgical teams to maintain high standards of patient care
  • Participate in surgical case preparations and patient monitoring
  • Support various specialties including general surgery, ENT, orthopedics, spine, urology, gynecology, vascular, and pain procedures
  • Manage weekday and weekend call schedule as required (2/24 weekend calls or one week of weekday night call)
  • Adhere to facility policies, including blue surgical scrub dress code

Schedule:

  • Day shift (rare to have night shifts)
  • Weekly guaranteed hours of 36-40 hours
  • On-call responsibilities including weekends and select weekday nights
