Schedule:
- Day shifts in the Cardiovascular OR (CVOR)
- Includes call as required
Qualifications:
- Active Illinois RN license
- Valid CPR/BLS and ACLS certifications
- Previous OR experience preferred; ability and willingness to float to other units as needed
- Comfortable adapting to related specialties in compliance with your licensure and clinical competencies
Responsibilities:
- Deliver safe, expert nursing care for surgical patients before, during, and after procedures within the CVOR
- Respond efficiently in urgent and emergent situations, participating in call rotations as needed
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and adapt to new units when floating is required
- Maintain comprehensive and accurate patient records
