Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Nashville, TN

Step into a dynamic operating room environment at a renowned, high-acuity healthcare facility with over 1,000 beds. We are currently seeking experienced Registered Nurses to support our Main OR for a 26-week contract. With six immediate openings and consecutive orientation start dates on 10/26, 11/2, 11/9, or 11/16, this position offers the opportunity to work alongside expert surgical teams across all major service lines—excluding pediatric, cardiac, transplant, and trauma/neuro cases.

Schedule/Hours:

• Variable shifts (days during the week vary as needed; no block schedules)
• Late stay required; anticipate four late stays per 13 weeks
• Must be available to work 2 of 3 holidays if scheduled
• Orientation available on specified start dates

Qualifications:

• Active Registered Nurse license (must be on file at submission)
• Minimum of 2 years’ circulating experience in the OR; scrub experience not required
• Prior travel nursing experience is a must
• Experience in large inpatient/outpatient OR settings (56 bed OR & 5 procedural rooms)
• Level 1 trauma experience strongly valued
• IVS to Interview; Manager will offer

Responsibilities:

• Circulate in a high-volume Main OR, serving adult patient populations
• Provide care for a wide range of surgical specialties, including general, ortho, GYN, urology, ENT, plastics, cardiothoracic, vascular, liver/renal/pancreas transplant, robotic, hybrid, ambulatory ortho, burn, and hepatic-biliary
• Meet the demands of a fast-paced, Level 1 trauma surgery setting
• Flexibly float between surgical suites as needed (no location changes)
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

$1,941 - $2,123/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 36 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
