Schedule/Hours:
- Four 10-hour shifts, 6:30 am–5:00 pm (flexibility in start/end times)
- Weekday call coverage: 5:00 pm–7:00 am, one day per week
- Weekend call: 48 hours, one weekend per month (Saturday and Sunday)
Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Active, unencumbered RN license
- Minimum of one year of recent Operating Room RN experience
- Spine case experience highly preferred
- Ability to scrub is a plus
- Current BLS certification required
- Excellent critical thinking and organizational skills
- Strong communication abilities and ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical setting
Responsibilities:
- Deliver skilled, patient-centered care in the Operating Room before, during, and after surgery
- Scrub and circulate as needed for varied case types, maintaining strict aseptic technique
- Anticipate the needs of the surgical team to ensure all equipment and supplies are available and sterile
- Support surgical procedures with a focus on patient safety and high standard outcomes
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesia providers, and support staff to ensure seamless care
- Participate in on-call rotations according to schedule requirements
- Actively contribute to a safe, respectful, and efficient surgical environment
