As a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, you’ll engage with a diverse array of surgical cases, collaborating closely with multi-specialty teams and learning from top-tier leaders in surgery and nursing. Being part of a facility with 820 staffed beds and exposure to advanced technologies—including five surgical robots—will let you sharpen your skills and broaden your resume. You’ll also gain invaluable experience managing cases in plastics, urology, colorectal, surgical oncology, and more.

Schedule/Hours:

  • 3x12-hour shifts, Monday to Friday, 6:30 AM – 7:00 PM
  • On-call required: 5–8 calls per month, including some weekends
  • Potential for holiday call coverage

Required Qualifications:

  • Active SC or multi-state RN license (must be current at start)
  • Minimum 2 years’ recent OR experience, able to both scrub and circulate
  • BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
  • Radiation badge (agency provided)
  • Experience handling general OR cases (plastics, colorectal, urology, etc.)
  • Familiarity with EPIC charting preferred
  • Level I Trauma experience strongly valued

Key Responsibilities:

  • Circulating and scrubbing for a broad spectrum of general OR cases
  • Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams in a high-acuity setting
  • Maintaining patient safety and high standards of care
  • Adhering to on-call and emergency response protocols, especially during hurricane season
