Key Qualifications:

• Active, unencumbered Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Demonstrated experience in Operating Room nursing, including circulating and/or scrubbing
• Current BLS certification; ACLS certification preferred
• Solid understanding of aseptic techniques, surgical instruments, and infection control protocols
• Strong communication skills to coordinate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff
• Adaptability to fast-paced environments and changing case loads

Responsibilities:

• Prepare the operating room, instruments, and supplies according to surgical procedures
• Serve as a patient advocate throughout the perioperative process
• Circulate and/or scrub on a variety of surgical cases
• Monitor and document patient status and responses; promptly address any complications
• Collaborate closely with surgical team members to provide seamless patient care
• Ensure strict compliance with safety, quality, and documentation standards
• Assist in postoperative care and patient transfer as needed
