Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Overland Park, KS

Qualifications & Experience:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing procedures and protocols
• Ability to thrive in fast-paced environments and adapt quickly to changing situations
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification preferred

Responsibilities:

• Assist in all aspects of surgical procedures, including circulating and scrubbing as needed
• Prepare the operating room with necessary instruments, equipment, and supplies, maintaining strict aseptic technique
• Monitor patient status before, during, and after procedures to ensure comfort and safety
• Collaborate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical techs, and other nursing staff
• Maintain accurate recordkeeping in compliance with facility policies and regulatory standards
• Provide patient education and emotional support to patients and their families
