Qualifications:

  • Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license
  • Minimum of one year recent experience as an OR Nurse
  • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency in perioperative nursing practices
  • Exceptional communication and teamwork skills
  • Ability to adapt quickly to fast-paced surgical environments

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure safe and effective care before, during, and after procedures
  • Prepare, organize, and maintain sterile supplies and instruments for various surgical operations
  • Monitor patient status, advocate for their safety, and respond rapidly to any changes
  • Accurately document all aspects of patient care, surgical counts, and perioperative activities
  • Deliver patient education regarding procedures, post-op recovery, and discharge instructions
  • Uphold strict infection control and safety protocols at all times
