Qualifications:
- Active RN license, eligible for Michigan
- Minimum of one year circulating experience in an operating room
- BLS and ACLS certifications (current)
- Experience with a variety of surgical procedures highly preferred
- Strong communication and critical thinking skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environments
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and maintain a sterile environment before, during, and after surgeries
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesia, and supporting staff
- Monitor patient status, ensuring comfort and safety throughout procedures
- Manage and verify supplies, instruments, and equipment
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and outcomes
- Support patient education and recovery needs post-surgery
