An exciting opportunity is available for an experienced RN-Operating Room professional to contribute to a high-acuity Level 3 trauma center. The role involves collaborating with a surgical team, ensuring optimal patient care during perioperative procedures, and using specialized skills as an RNFA, PA, or SA (certification required; CST not accepted).
Schedule:
- Monday through Friday, 07:00 to 17:30
- On-call: One weekday each week, plus one to two weekend days per month
Qualifications:
- Current Registered Nurse license with documented Operating Room experience
- RN First Assistant (RNFA), Physician Assistant (PA), or Surgical Assistant (SA) certification—CST credential not accepted
- Proven proficiency in surgical assistance and intraoperative patient care
- Strong understanding of sterile technique and surgical procedures in trauma settings
- BLS and ACLS certifications (or ability to obtain before start)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work under pressure
Key Responsibilities:
- Act as a vital member of the perioperative team, assisting in various surgical cases within a Level 3 trauma center
- Perform advanced first assist duties during operative procedures
- Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe, efficient operations
- Maintain strict adherence to patient safety and infection prevention protocols
- Proactively anticipate the needs of the surgical team
- Participate in on-call rotation and provide reliable coverage as scheduled

$1,815 - $1,920/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
