OR RN in Palmdale, CA

A challenging opportunity for an experienced Operating Room Registered Nurse is available in Palmdale, CA. This travel contract position offers a fixed schedule with a combination of day and night shifts, ideal for RNs skilled in orthopedic, trauma, and robotics cases.

Schedule:

• Thursday & Friday: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Saturday: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM
• Call coverage required on weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays

Responsibilities include delivering exceptional perioperative nursing care in a Level I or II trauma environment. This role requires critical thinking, strong clinical skills, and the ability to work independently as part of a multidisciplinary team.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Current California RN license
• BLS and ACLS certification
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years of relevant OR nursing experience, including orthopedic, trauma, and robotics cases
• At least 1 year of travel RN experience
• Skills checklist documentation required upon submission
