Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Palmdale, California

Play a pivotal role in a dynamic operating room environment by providing expert nursing care for patients undergoing surgical procedures. This 13-week assignment is ideal for experienced OR RNs with a strong background in orthopedics, trauma, and robotics, looking to make an immediate impact.

Key Schedule Details:

• 3x12-hour shifts, fixed schedule
  • Wed, Thurs, Fri: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM, or
  • Sun, Mon, Tues: 6:45 AM – 7:15 PM
• Call required (including weekdays, weekends, nights, and holidays)

Essential Qualifications:

• Current, active California RN license
• BLS and ACLS certifications
• NIH Stroke Scale (NIHSS) certification
• Minimum 2 years relevant OR RN experience, including Level I or II trauma
• At least 1 year of travel nursing experience
• Demonstrated background in Ortho, Trauma, and Robotics cases
• Completed skills checklist (required upon submission)

Primary Responsibilities:

• Deliver high-quality, compassionate care in a busy OR setting
• Assist with a variety of complex surgical cases, particularly ortho, trauma, and robotic procedures
• Actively participate in the surgical team, ensuring adherence to sterile techniques and protocols
• Respond efficiently to surgical emergencies and collaborate with interdisciplinary team members
• Offer patient and family-centered support before, during, and after procedures
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold safety standards
