Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Pawtucket, Rhode Island

Step into a challenging and rewarding role that leverages your expertise as an Operating Room Registered Nurse. In this position, you'll be immersed in a supportive surgical environment and collaborate closely with a talented multidisciplinary team to deliver top-notch patient care across a variety of specialties.

Schedule/Hours:

• Day shifts: 10- or 12-hour options available
• Call requirement: Ortho team members will cover one weekend every four weeks, with some short and long call shifts as needed

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license valid in Rhode Island or compact state eligibility
• Current BLS certification
• Robust OR experience, with strengths in General, Orthopedic, and Neuro cases
• Proficiency with Da Vinci Robotics systems
• Proven adaptability in a fast-paced, high-acuity operating environment

Primary Responsibilities:

• Circulate or scrub in complex surgical procedures, emphasizing best practices in patient safety and infection prevention
• Collaborate closely with surgical, anesthesia, and support staff to coordinate seamless operation room flow
• Advocate for patients throughout the perioperative process, providing education and emotional support
• Vigilantly monitor patient status and respond rapidly to changing clinical needs
• Assist with pre-operative preparation and post-operative care as needed
• Maintain thorough documentation and uphold all facility policies and standards

$2,662 - $2,816/Week Estimated weekly earnings represent hourly wages, based on 40 hours per week, and expense reimbursement for eligible candidates. The actual amount may vary based on hours worked, eligibility for reimbursements, and seasonal adjustments.
