Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Pelham, Alabama

Exciting contract opportunities are available for experienced Registered Nurses with expertise in the Operating Room. This position offers the chance to work closely with a skilled surgical team, delivering the highest standards of perioperative care. With three current openings, these roles are ideally suited for nurses who thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment and possess strong backgrounds in Ortho (including totals), General, and Neuro (Spines) surgical procedures.

Schedule:

• 4 shifts per week, 10 hours each (total 40 hours weekly)
• AM shift

Qualifications:

• Current RN license with authority to practice
• Minimum of 1 year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
• Proven proficiency in Orthopedic cases (including total joints), General Surgery, and Neurosurgery (Spine procedures)
• Strong communication and critical thinking skills
• Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and/or scrub in a variety of surgical procedures, with a focus on Orthopedics, General, and Neuro cases
• Provide comprehensive preoperative, intraoperative, and postoperative nursing care
• Ensure surgical asepsis and maintain patient safety at all times
• Accurately document nursing interventions and patient responses
• Communicate clearly and promptly with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and support staff

For those selected for this assignment, compensation is set at $80 per hour with no additional fees deducted.
