Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Pike Road, Alabama

Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license
• Minimum of 1 year experience working as an RN in an Operating Room setting
• Strong knowledge of surgical protocols, sterile techniques, and patient monitoring
• BLS certification (required); ACLS certification (preferred)
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving abilities

Responsibilities:

• Deliver direct patient care before, during, and after surgical procedures in the OR
• Prepare the operating room and surgical instruments, ensuring strict adherence to aseptic techniques
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists as an integral OR team member
• Monitor patient responses during complex procedures, documenting observations accurately
• Provide patient education and emotional support to individuals and families regarding surgical procedures and recovery
• Adhere to evidence-based practices and facility protocols, maintaining the highest standards of safety and quality
