Registered Nurse - Operating Room | Pike Road, Alabama

An exciting opportunity is open for an experienced Registered Nurse with a focus in the Operating Room. This contract position offers the chance to make a real difference by providing expert care to surgical patients across various specialties within a dynamic and supportive environment.

Schedule & Shift:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week

Key Qualifications:

• Active RN license
• Minimum of 2 years perioperative experience (non-travel roles preferred prior to travel assignments)
• Will consider first-time travelers who meet experience requirements
• Required certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Strong robotic surgery experience is essential
• Skilled in general, GYN, urology, and vascular cases
• Solid circulator experience
• Exposure to or interest in pediatric dental, podiatry, ENT cases is a plus

Work Environment & Patient Population:

• Six fully functional operating rooms and one cysto room, with a maximum of six rooms running at any time
• Central sterile processing including decontamination and autoclave areas
• Patient assignments are consistently 1:1, supporting individualized care
• Patient cases include: General, gynecology, urology, vascular, orthopedics, pediatric dental (preferred), podiatry, ENT, and robotics for general, GYN, and urology procedures

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide direct patient care in the OR as circulator, ensuring safety and positive outcomes for surgical patients
• Collaborate with surgeons, surgical techs, anesthesiologists, and other team members for effective case management
• Adhere to sterile technique and established protocols for infection control
• Utilize advanced robotic technology and participate in a wide range of surgeries
• Contribute to a positive team atmosphere with clear communication and professionalism
