Key Qualifications:
- Active Minnesota RN license and current BLS certification required
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an OR RN, with background in Level II trauma or higher settings
- Familiarity with ER nursing environments considered an asset
- CNOR certification highly preferred
- Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
- Adaptability to thrive in high-acuity and rapidly evolving situations
Schedule:
- Start date approximately 2–4 weeks from offer
- Contract position with potential for extension
Responsibilities:
- Provide hands-on perioperative nursing care to patients in the Operating Room according to best practices
- Collaborate closely with surgical teams during procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
- Deliver excellent care to trauma-level patients and support emergency interventions when required
- Accurately document and update patient medical records
