Key Qualifications:

  • Active Minnesota RN license and current BLS certification required
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience as an OR RN, with background in Level II trauma or higher settings
  • Familiarity with ER nursing environments considered an asset
  • CNOR certification highly preferred
  • Strong interpersonal and communication abilities
  • Adaptability to thrive in high-acuity and rapidly evolving situations

Schedule:

  • Start date approximately 2–4 weeks from offer
  • Contract position with potential for extension

Responsibilities:

  • Provide hands-on perioperative nursing care to patients in the Operating Room according to best practices
  • Collaborate closely with surgical teams during procedures, ensuring sterile technique and patient safety
  • Deliver excellent care to trauma-level patients and support emergency interventions when required
  • Accurately document and update patient medical records
  • Contribute to a positive, teamwork-driven atmosphere with multidisciplinary colleagues
