Registered Nurse - Operating Room - Pinson, Alabama

Exciting opportunities are available for skilled Registered Nurses in the Operating Room. There are three immediate openings for experienced OR RNs who thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment. These positions offer 4 ten-hour shifts each week (totaling 40 hours), scheduled during AM shifts.

As a crucial member of the surgical team, you’ll collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to deliver exceptional patient care throughout operative procedures. Your expertise will be especially valuable in orthopedic (including joint replacement totals), general surgical, and neurosurgical (particularly spine) cases.

Schedule:

• Four 10-hour shifts per week (40 hours total)
• AM shift

To Qualify, You’ll Need:

• Current, active RN license
• At least two years of recent Operating Room nursing experience
• Demonstrated experience with Orthopedic (totals), General, and Neurosurgical (spine) procedures
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification; ACLS preferred
• Proven ability to thrive in high-acuity surgical environments
• Strong communication and team collaboration skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Circulate and scrub as needed on a variety of cases, with emphasis on ortho, neuro (spines), and general surgeries
• Ensure sterile technique, safety, and adherence to protocols throughout procedures
• Prepare, assess, and support patients before, during, and after surgery
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams to provide excellent, efficient care
• Anticipate surgeon and team needs throughout operative cases
