Qualifications:

• Active and unencumbered RN license
• Minimum of 1 year recent experience in an operating room setting
• BLS certification; ACLS preferred
• Strong understanding of aseptic technique and surgical instrumentation
• Excellent assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills
• Ability to function effectively under pressure and respond quickly in urgent situations

Responsibilities:

• Scrub and circulate in a broad range of surgical cases
• Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to provide comprehensive patient care
• Monitor patient condition throughout procedures and provide timely, accurate documentation
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and sterile field integrity
• Prepare the OR with necessary supplies, instruments, and equipment prior to each procedure
• Educate and support patients and their families before and after surgery as needed
