Registered Nurse - Operating Room (OR RN) - Pinson, AL

Schedule Options:

• AM Shift: Choose from 4 shifts of 10 hours or 3 shifts of 12 hours per week
• No on-call responsibilities
• One required late stay per week
• One required weekend shift each month

Desired Qualifications:

• Current and valid RN license
• BLS certification required
• Operating Room experience preferred, with strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile technique, and perioperative nursing practices
• Excellent critical thinking, organization, and communication skills
• Ability to work effectively as part of a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver safe, high-quality patient care to surgical patients throughout perioperative phases
• Prepare the operating room and ensure necessary surgical tools and supplies are available
• Assist surgeons during procedures, anticipating needs and responding rapidly to evolving situations
• Maintain strict adherence to infection control policies and safety guidelines
• Accurately document procedures, patient status, and any intraoperative events
• Communicate proactively with surgical teams and other departments to promote continuity of care
