Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver comprehensive nursing care to patients before, during, and after surgery
• Monitor patients and quickly respond to changes in condition during procedures
• Prepare and maintain the operating room with necessary surgical equipment and sterile supplies
• Collaborate with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Carefully document patient information, surgical activities, and observations in compliance with regulations
• Educate patients and families about post-operative care, addressing questions and concerns
• Uphold strict principles of aseptic technique and infection control throughout procedures
• Participate in ongoing process improvements to ensure the highest quality of care

Required Qualifications and Skills:

• Active and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of one year current experience in an Operating Room (OR) setting
• Familiarity with a variety of surgical procedures and OR protocols
• Current certifications in BLS and ACLS
• Proficiency in patient monitoring and the use of specialized OR equipment
• Excellent communication, organization, and critical thinking abilities
• Team-oriented approach with a commitment to patient safety and quality care
