Key Qualifications:

• Current and unrestricted RN license
• Minimum of 1 year direct Operating Room (OR) experience required
• Certified in Basic Life Support (BLS), with Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) preferred
• Demonstrated knowledge of aseptic technique and infection control practices
• Excellent communication and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to adapt quickly to changing surgical environments and diverse patient populations

Essential Responsibilities:

• Provide direct nursing care to patients undergoing surgical procedures, collaborating closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical technologists
• Prepare and maintain the operating room, ensuring all equipment and instruments are properly set up and maintained
• Monitor patient safety, comfort, and condition before, during, and immediately after surgery
• Accurately document perioperative care, medications, and patient responses in electronic health records
• Adhere strictly to all hospital policies, protocols, and safety standards to maintain a secure clinical environment
• Offer support to patients and families, providing education and reassurance throughout the surgical experience
