Exciting opportunities are available for Registered Nurses with Operating Room expertise to provide quality care in a high-acuity surgical environment. This contract role offers the chance to work alongside dedicated professionals in a Level I Trauma setting, supporting a diverse patient population from pediatric to geriatric. The department specializes in a wide range of complex ENT, dental, plastics, oral, and head and neck procedures, utilizing state-of-the-art equipment and EPIC EMR.

Schedule Options:

  • Choose from 4x10-hour or 4x12-hour shifts
  • Day shifts available: 7am-5pm or 7am-7:30pm
  • Occasional weekends and call as needed
  • Guaranteed 36 hours per week

Required Qualifications:

  • Active RN license with a minimum of two years' recent Operating Room experience
  • BLS and ACLS certifications required
  • Experience in ENT, Dental, Plastics, Trauma Level 1, and/or Pediatric cases
  • Proven ability to excel in a fast-paced surgical environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • PALS and AORN certifications strongly encouraged
  • Previous work with trauma or specialty surgical teams

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide safe, evidence-based perioperative nursing care for surgical patients of all ages
  • Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
  • Adhere to department protocols for surgical procedures and infection prevention
  • Demonstrate flexibility, patient-centered focus, and a commitment to teamwork at all times
