Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid RN license
- Minimum one year of recent experience in an Operating Room setting
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Proficiency in circulating and/or scrubbing for various surgical procedures
- Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to swiftly adapt to new teams and protocols
Responsibilities/Duties:
- Assist surgical teams by preparing the operating room and ensuring all equipment is sterile and functional
- Provide direct patient care before, during, and after surgery
- Accurately monitor and document patient status throughout surgical procedures
- Communicate effectively with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and surgical staff to ensure patient safety
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control policies
- Support patient and family education throughout the surgical process
