Deliver patient-centered care as a Registered Nurse in the Operating Room, utilizing your expertise to support surgical teams and ensure a safe environment for all patients. Qualifications and Experience:

  • Current RN license in good standing
  • At least one year of recent experience in an Operating Room environment
  • BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required; ACLS preferred
  • Strong knowledge of surgical procedures, sterile techniques, and patient safety protocols
  • Excellent critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and within a multidisciplinary team

Key Responsibilities:

  • Prepare the OR and ensure all surgical instruments and supplies are available and sterile
  • Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and OR staff before, during, and after procedures
  • Monitor patient status, respond rapidly to emergencies, and advocate for patient safety at all times
  • Maintain accurate documentation in patient records and strictly adhere to hospital policies and best practices
  • Deliver compassionate care to patients and provide education or reassurance as needed throughout perioperative phases
  • Support post-operative recovery and assist with patient transitions as necessary
